365 Talent Portal consultant update and networking – London, April 2016

365 Talent Portal consultant update and networking – London, April 2016

Over the last few weeks, we have launched a new programme of networking events for our member consultants.  We’ve already had some webinars for different time zones, and last night was a focus group – an in-person meeting which we held in our London offices in the hi-tech Silicon Roundabout.

It was a relaxed evening after work and we were delighted to involve Dynamics experts like Parvez Ghumra who have been with us since we began.  As he says, “I’m one of the first guys to have registered and get jobs via 365 Talent Portal.  To meet the team and discuss their future plans with other Dynamics consultants was an opportunity most companies rarely give their users – I’m delighted to contribute my ideas”.

Yesterday’s theme was focussed on 365 Talent Portal progress to date, some of our global and small customers, discussing some of the exciting Microsoft initiatives we are fulfilling, and how our fundraising round is growing well.  For this part, we were delighted to welcome Nick Taylor and Agne Pakalniskyte from Envestors, our corporate finance advisors, to answer any detailed questions that our members had.

Some of the highlights include:

  • We’ve grown a really positive, helpful and enthusiastic community of consultants
  • Over 2100 consultants (growing at 100+ per month)
  • Presence in 101 countries
  • Small, medium and large customers including IBM, Avanade, HP, CGI, and Cloud9 Insight
  • 365 Talent Portal is working closely with Microsoft on the global AX Accelerate program
  • Our fundraising program is going well and will help us expand our services faster and better

We had a lively debate about how we can further help Microsoft improve the quality and size of the consultant pool – which will directly help the volume of Dynamics licence sales and success of subsequent implementations.  “Getting such great advice from our members is so important to us” said Elena Baeva, CEO of 365 Talent Portal.  “This is why we are delighted so many of them are investing in our fundraising – it’s not just investment we are getting, but smart, very well-connected brand ambassadors, which we wouldn’t necessarily get from traditional funding sources.”.  Dilliraj Dasarathan, a Senior AX consultant member, added “I really enjoyed the networking and to be able to contribute some ideas to help steer the 365 Talent Portal direction”.

There followed some detail scrutiny of our business plan from the audience, led by Aryna Kokryna, an AX Solution Architect who worked as a Financial Accountant in various countries for many years before, so knows her stuff.  As she put it, “To have the chance to meet the 365 Talent Portal team and advisors, and go through your plans in detail was a really interesting insight – thanks so much”.

Steve Sydee, COO at 365 Talent Portal, knows the importance of this: “It is phenomenal to have access to such expertise within our community of highly involved users, many of whom are keen to participate in the growth of the company”.  Nick Taylor from Envestors immediately recognised the amazing enthusiasm in the community: “I’ve helped direct company funding rounds for many years now, but 365 Talent Portal is the first company I’ve been involved with that already has a large global community of such passionate users – a real eye-opener for me.”

Overall, it was a fun evening where everyone got to know each other well, and helped frame our direction for the 365 Talent Portal business and our fundraising campaign.  We’ll leave the final word to another of the attendees – Simon Pickard, Director, Collier-Pickard:  “It was exhilarating to see your passion for supporting Dynamics consultants hasn’t dimmed. I see your close relationship with Microsoft, based on years of successful solution delivery, as a key attraction to me as an investor”.

We’ll be running more webinars and in person meetings in the near future.  If you would like to take part in one, to help us better direct the service we provide to you, please let us know at info@365talentportal.com.

If you would like to get further involved and might consider being part of our investment fundraising, please register at our FCA-compliant investment portal.  This will give you access to some detailed information about our plans.  As an official investment site, it will ask you a few regulatory questions but won’t commit you to anything at all.  Unless you regularly invest in companies, when the sites asks for what type of investor you might be, please select ‘Restricted Investor’.
