Our client who specialise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Dynamics CRM) is currently holding a Business Development Consultant for consulting with business owners on how to improve and rationalise their business systems. Successful candidate will also sell Office 365 packages and data analysis services to complement this offering.


Key tasks include:

  • Work up the leads provided by the marketing team
  • Generate your own leads through your contacts, networking, canvassing and the business press
  • Attend meetings with prospective clients and decision makers to gather and record detailed requirements sufficient to map out a project and write a sales proposal
  • Manage your own pipeline of opportunities up to winning the order
  • Update the CRM system daily with all sales activity, key updates and other records linked to managing your work
  • Provide a handover of client meetings and requirements to the project team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project delivery
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross sell to existing clients using the CRM system and other tools
  • Attend national Microsoft and associated partners training and seminars to upskill on technical knowledge and sales knowledge
  • Commit to continuous improvement and professional development
  • Use AMS templates and electronic tools to build proposals and other internal and client facing documents
  • Contribute to the company vision, mission and values


  • At least 2 years’ experience in a software sales related role
  • Knowledge of CRM systems in general along with using them
  • Knowledge of other business and specialist databases
  • Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be an advantage
